Having taken her diploma at the Technical Institute for Tourism run by the Marcelline nuns in Milan, she enrolled in the School for Interpreters and Translators where she spent a year and then on to begin a B.A. degree course but interrupted her studies to become independent. She started travelling, working a year in Berlin, staying in London and going to Tours in France for several months and spending some time in Greece and Egypt for travel agencies. By working for the tourist sector she broadened her formation, becoming Travel Agency Technical Director in 1988, Tour Leader in 1995, Tourist Guide of the Province of Verbania Cusio Ossola in 2003 and Naturalistic Guide in 2007. She collaborated with the Italian Touring Club and the Bramante Editorial Group in order to write tourist guides, she has travelled extensively both for work and enjoyment. She loves getting to know the world, living amidst nature, hiking in the mountains and taking note of her surroundings.
Her climb in life has led her more and more towards environmental excursionist tourism, uniting observing nature with the cultural and artistic aspect of the territory. In 2017 she succeeds in consolidating one of her passions, by obtaining the Hatha Yoga Teacher diploma.
She lives in Colloro in Ossola Valley, a tiny village within the Valgrande National Park where she and her husband run a Bed and Breakfast.

She obtained her degree in foreign languages and literature specializing in cultural history and Spanish in 2001. After having spent some time abroad and a 9-month study period in Salamanca Spain, she started a working experience for the Spanish Tourism Authority in Milan and then for a firm as the person in charge of the export department. Since 2005 she has decided to follow her formation by attaining the Tourist Guide diploma in 2006, Naturalistic Guide in 2007 and a new degree in Tourism Management and Promotion in 2009.
At present she is working as a professional guide concentrating on naturalistic and cultural excursionistic tourism and carries out environmental education activity collaborating as a didactic operator with Parks, Agencies and Associations. She also gives advice in order to show off and promote typical territorial characteristics and produce of Ossola Valley. She loves travelling and discovering different places and relative local people, trodding along paths and deeply sensing nature and the mountains. She is greatly tied to the surrounding territory, tries to show visitors what lies within and without things, taking in the landscape by slowing down the pace, savouring beauty and curiously observing traces of the past which still exist around us.
In 1978 while he was still very young he carried out a photographic report on Afghanistan shortly before the Sovietic invasion and in 1979 he took his school leaving diploma at ITSOS in Milan in visual communication. He has been a professional photographer since 1982, he has collaborated with the most important Italian publishing companies and for ten years he worked for the weekly magazine Panorama. Because he is a keen photographer of mountain landscape in 1999 he won the photographic competition during the event “Milanomontagna2000” organized by Lombardy Region. He has practised the alpinism since he was a boy and then he concentrated more and more on excursionism preferring the naturalistic aspect rather than the sports one. Besides knowing most of the Alpine chain very well, he has also followed mountain paths over Europe and Asia. During his travels, from Tatra to the Pyrenees, from the wild Greek mountains of Epirus, of Olympus and of the island of Crete to the long Himalayan treks, he shares with his partner human experiences and various cultural aspects. In the year 1996 he became teacher of yoga having taken his diploma at the “Scuola di Yoga Terapeutico” in Milan. In 2005 he abandoned the town and moved to a small village of Ossola Valley. In 2010 he obtained the professional qualification of Naturalistic Guide.
