La Cà Vegia di Colloro è un perfetto esempio di casa contadina conservata quasi intatta nei secoli. La datazione precisa non è ancora nota ma mantiene l’assetto originario della casa rurale tardo medievale straordinariamente integra nella quasi totalità con i suoi caratteri originali ascrivibili ad un periodo tra il ‘400 ed il ‘500.

La grande stanza al piano terra, completamente annerita da secoli di fumo e con il soffitto a più di tre metri e mezzo di altezza, è l’elemento più sorprendente che rende questo edificio unico in ambito provinciale.

La grande stanza al primo piano, dove è stato realizzato un importante intervento strutturale che la resa accessibile al pubblico, è stata adibita a sala espositiva per mostre di vario genere con il proposito di aumentare l’offerta culturale nella frazione.

The Cà Vegia di Colloro is a perfect example of a rural house that has remained almost intact over the centuries. Its exact age is still unknown, but it retains the original layout of a late medieval rural house, which is remarkably intact in almost its entirety, with its original features dating back to a period between the 15th and 16th centuries.

The large room on the ground floor, completely blackened by centuries of smoke and with a ceiling over three and a half metres high, is the most striking feature that makes this building unique in the province.

The large room on the first floor, which underwent major structural work to make it accessible to the public, has been converted into an exhibition hall for various types of exhibitions with the aim of increasing the cultural offering in the village.
